Healing takes time. It takes a process of letting go, changing behaviors, and re-integrating energy from newly healed wounds. All of our trauma didn’t happen in a day. Our healing won’t either. Healing journeys generally look like a series of stops, stutters, and stalls rather than a nice straight line.
So, there is no one-size-fits-all answer for how often one should get an energy healing session. Mostly I tell clients, it is up to you. Over the next week or two listen to your body, your feelings, and your intuition. You may even have some interesting dreams that can tell you what to do. You, more than anyone, will know if and when more sessions will be beneficial.
With that said, here are some guidelines that may help you.
If you feel like your life is pretty good right now and you don’t have much in the way of pain or emotional stuff going on, then maybe a session once every six to twelve months is for you.
If you are interested in growing personally and spiritually and feel like the sessions are beneficial for that, then maybe you want to have a monthly session to help you along your path.
If you feel a calling to become a shaman or a Maker yourself, then a weekly or bi-weekly coaching session along with some healing sessions every once in a while might be best for you.
If you have a specific physical problem or disease that you want to work on, then a set of weekly sessions over the course of a couple of weeks or months may be best for you. This could also apply to specific emotional issues from past trauma.
