What does it mean to heal?

I had the privilege to be a part of a women's retreat in La Crosse

by providing healing sessions for all the attendees. It was a long day but it felt like everyone got something out of the sessions. It got me to thinking about the healing process. Everyone's life experiences are different, so how they heal and what needs to be healed is too. But, healing is really about letting go. Letting go of the past. Letting go of the anger, fear, or sadness. Letting go of the beliefs that lead to unhealthy behaviors and patterns. Letting go of judgment. It's about intent, will, and focus. Such a simple thing - letting go. Such a hard thing to do. Whenever you can let go of those past wounds, truly let go, you regain lost energy. You feel lighter. You feel calmer. If you are feeling sluggish, low in energy, have physical pain, or if you need help in letting go, find a good healer who can help you in that process. You'll be amazed at how good you'll feel. I know the women who I worked with yesterday did.
